During the meeting on Thursday, November 6th, participants can connect through the live chat hosted through CoverItLive. It will open at approximately 7:45 a.m. PST, and will remain open until the afternoon.
Click the play button to get started. After you have posted your first message, it will go to a moderator to be approved. After your initial post, you will be added to the live chat so that you can participate without moderation.

Dysfunctions of a Team Assessment - 45 minutes
We will be using a portion of the document from admworks.org (pages 6,7, and 8), The Five Dysfunctions of a Team Assessment
(This video segment unfortunately didn't get recorded.)
Six Elements of Rigorous Learning - 30 minutes
During the morning session, participants will be directed to different stations around the room to watch some videos that will be the catalyst for conversation around the 6 elements of rigorous learning. There will be two 15 minute sessions where participants will view then discuss the videos they are watching as they pertain to rigorous learning. We invite you, the virtual participant, to also choose 2 of the 4 videos below to watch and discuss in the live chat above. During this session, the live broadcast will be paused. It will be resumed when we begin to come together as a group again.

During the afternoon session, Ms. Ngai, a second grade teacher at Montara Elementary School, will be connecting with us through Skype. She will be sharing some of the strategies and tools she uses to engage her students. Ms. Ngai's Classroom Website
